Allow the soft and delicate spirit of the Rose to gently hold you and serve as medicine for your heart. The Way of the Rose is a rose tea ceremony for healing and opening our hearts. During our time together, we will work with the spirit of the Rose to heal active or lingering grief, sadness, and heartbreak. Let's commune with the spirit of the Rose and receive her blessings and heart space healing. Together we will explore the softening beauty of Rose and her ability to help us remain open to life through our grief. She reminds us that true strength is open hearted. Allow Rose to envelop your heart and spirit. She can soothe your pain, clear your grief, and assist you in softening your heart. Rose brings a quiet comfort to our heart space, reminding us that we are capable of healing. She encourages us to bloom and yet also lovingly protects. She teaches us that we don't heal our hearts by making them harder to life. We heal our hearts by feeling and softening, gently, while somehow (miraculously) remaining open.
The ceremony will be led by Tatiana of @neteruapothecary and Michelle of @fireandbloom. Tatiana will open the space with a Mapacho clearing. We will begin with some gentle breathwork and introductions around the circle. Next, as Rose tea is poured- we will discuss the healing properties of Rose. Michelle will guide the group through a somatic exercise and also discuss tips for nervous system regulation and healing during the grief process. We will close with a shamanic drum meditation in which we connect & commune with the spirit of the Rose. Soup will be served for grounding after the meditation.
