The introducing embroidery workshop is an ideal starting place for anyone who want to create a unique wall decor or outfit embellishment.
In this class, student are going to learn how to print designs on fabric and then embroidery stitches.
The class is suitable for beginners. The class covers the basics, insider tips and practical application, making sure students are fully equipped to go on and apply monograms to their own garments and develop their own unique style.
In this class, students will be working with their own designs or with predefined designs. All supplies are provided by The Comptoir and students are able to take the embroidery pack home.
Feel free to bring a t-shirt, a jeans jacket or everything you want to make an embroidery on. If you don’t want to make an embellishment on one of your clothe, The Comptoir is going to provide lot of fabrics peaces. If you want to bring your own fabric, the best choice for beginners is cotton fabric.
What you will make in class
You will learn all the basics :
- Print designs on fabric
- many embroidery stitches
- how to use and embroidery hoop
- how to choose the best fabric to make embroideries
- how to use a designs to create the most unique embroidery
But if you are not a beginners and if you already know a little bit about embroidery, you can also learn new stitches or working on new designs.
